Audience Feedback

Audience feedback is essential to ensure the product you are producing is suitable for the target audience. There are many different types of audience feedback, for example:

-Reviews: Self explanatory, a formal assessment of what they have watched.

-Complaints: Complaints are negative, however they can be a huge advantage if the complaint is something that people will want to see. For example, there was a lot of talk about Rihannas "S&M" video which had a lot of adult content and nudity. And because people were talking about it, the video went viral as people wanted to see it.

-Focus Groups: Focus groups are when you select a few people to review the product, give feedback and what they think so the product their making can be improved if possible. This is a great method as they could think it was a really bad idea, and if it got released to the public it would get bad reviews.

-Questionnaires: The simplest, cheapest method which just involves certain people viewing the product, then letting them filling out a questionnaire which can help improve the product.
