Reception Theory/Study Vantage Point

Reception theory is where you show an understanding of the texts and how the audience interprets them.

When I watched Vantage Point I watched it in a light room with other classmates. However I feel if I was watching it on my own in a dark room I would of been more enhanced in the movie, as you have to be to understand what was going on as the plot was slightly confusing. However watching it with classmates did give it more of a home cinema feeling to it, which is an advantage.
